Issue 1:

The Climate Issue

Our first issue of Decolonization Dialogues is titled: Climate. We aim to explore the relationship between indigeneity, colonization, and the land itself, and how we can study their relationships to find tangible solutions to the climate crisis that are rooted in indigenous practices. We will also be discussing how the destruction of land has been weaponized as a tool of colonization in countries like Palestine, India, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

We believe that creativity is an invaluable tool for expression and empowerment. Through essays, art, creative writing, and photography, we weave together a tapestry that reflects the shared experiences and diverse perspectives needed for collective liberation.

This is not a dialogue owned by a few; it's shared by many, and it’s yours too. We invite you to join this collective effort by submitting art, writing, and stories to be part of the conversation.

Submissions for this issue are now closed. Follow us on Instagram @decolonizationdialogues to learn more about other ways to get involved!
